WARNING: 

The power supply to the unit must comply with all local and/or national codes as may have jurisdiction. It is also required to 

ensure power supply is  equipped with a sufficient earth ground for the safety of the occupants as well as the well being of the electronic 
controls.

 

WARNING: The following procedure must be performed by a qualified technician and in compliance with all local and national 
codes or regulations

.

 

To prevent the risk of electric shock you must deenergize the unit before attempting to make electrical connections  or any maintenance 
operations.

   

To perform the electrical connections through a cable embedded into the wall, proceed as follows: 

Remove the lower cover (wedged in) (fig. 17 ref. A)

Remove the upper cover (wedged in) (fig. 17 ref. B)

Unscrew the 6 screws that lock the front cover (fig. 18 ref. A)

 

Remove the front cover (fig. 19)

Remove the cover of the electrical box (fig. 19 ref. A)

Unscrew the cable clamp (fig. 19 ref. B)

Unscrew the cable fixing screws of the terminal strip (fig. 19 ref. C)

Remove the cable

 then i

nsert the new cable following the same route

Remove the wooden wedge from behind the unit

ock the cable's three poles in the terminal strip and tighten the screws (fig. 19 ref. C)

B

lock the cable with the clamp (fig. 19 ref. B)

C

lose the protection of the board (fig. 19 ref. A)

R

efit the front cover of the unit with the six screws

R

efit the two wedged-in covers (upper and lower).

CAUTION: The following procedures should be performed with the machine already positioned on the bracket. Read the instructions 
carefully before completing the electric connections.

 

2.4 

TOP/BOTTOM INSTALLATION CONFIGURATION

 

This unit may be installed either at the bottom of the wall (adjacent to the floor) or at the top (adjacent to the ceiling). The air jet  can be 
modified to optimize air distribution and occupant comfort by changing the position of the air outlet fap. Figure 20 refers to a unit configured 
for installation near the floor in which air flows upwards. The same configuration may also be used to install the unit near the ceiling with the 
cooling function, allowing an increase to the airflow in the room.  Figure 21 refers to a unit configured for installation near the ceiling in which 
air flows downwards. 

THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS MUST BE PERFORMED WHEN THE UNIT IS SWITCHED OFF AND DEENERGIZED

 

CHANGING THE CONFIGURATION OF THE AIR OUTLET FLAP FROM BOTTOM TO TOP OF WALL

 

Carefully open the air outlet flap

nhook the flap (side and central hooks on the baffles) (fig. 20)

R

emove the pin (fig. 20 ref. A)

T

urn the fap 18Q° (fig. 20)

I

nsert the pin (fig. 21, ref. A) on the right-hand side of the fap

 

I

nsert the fap into the unit by inserting the pin (fig. 21 ref. B) into the top hole on the right-hand side in the opening (fig. 21 ref. C), and the 

flap's left-hand hole on the upper pin that is on the left-hand side in the opening (fig. 21, ref. D)

CHANGING THE CONFIGURATION OF THE AIR OUTLET FLAP FROM TOP TO BOTTOM OF WALL 

Carefully open the air outlet flap

nhook the flap (side and central hooks on the baffles) (fig. 20)

emove the pin (fig. 20 ref. A)

T

urn the fap 18Q° (fig. 20)

I

nsert the pin (fig. 21, ref. A) on the right-hand side of the fap

 

I

nsert the fap into the unit by inserting the pin (fig. 21 ref. B) into the bottom hole on the right-hand side of the opening (fig. 21 ref. C), and

the flap's left-hand hole on the lower pin that is on the left-hand side in the opening (fig. 21, ref. D)

After having performed the steps required to change the air outlet flap position it is necessary to configure the unit’s control board by 
following the instructions listed in chapter 2.5 of this manual.

 

IMPORTANT: FOR CORRECT UNIT OPERATION EACH TIME THE CONFIGURATION OF  THE AIR OUTLET FLAP IS MODIFIED 
THERE MUST BE A CORRESPONDING CHANGE TO THE CONTROL BOARD’S SETTINGS.

IMPORTANT: 

Prior to starting the unit  the two supplementary filters (green purifying filter and black active carbon filter) contained in 

the parts bag must be installed.  Refer to section 2.6.1, which describes how to clean the filters, to understand both how to remove 

and reinstall them.   Also reference figures 25, 26, and 27 as detailed in section 2.6.1.
