Overview of the Print Job Box Function
The Print Job Box function is used to store print jobs in the Printer HDD without
printing them just after they have been received, and to print them later via an
operation on the Printer panel by the user.
Using the Print Job Box function allows you to reduce the number of misprints and
documents left unattended after they have been printed.
The same benefits can be obtained with the user authentication function, but the
Print Job Box function does not require the administrator to register users and
perform other time-consuming operations.
The Print Job Box function makes it possible to easily reduce costs without having
to register users.
Moreover, using this function becomes even simpler when it is operated together
with smart cards.
Note
This function cannot be used together with the print authentication
function.
