Changing the administrator password

This section describes how to change the administrator password. To enhance the security, we
recommend that you change the default password.

The password consists of 6 to 12 characters. You can use digits and lower-case letters.

Check that "READY TO PRINT" appears on the display.

Press «

∧

» or «

∨

» several times to display [ADMIN SETUP].

Press «OK».

Input the password when [ENTER PASSWORD] is displayed.

•

The default password is "999999".

After you have input the password, press «OK».

Press «

∧

» once to display [CHANGE PASSWORD].

Press «OK».

Input the new password when [NEW PASSWORD] is displayed.

Input the new password again when [VERIFY PASSWORD] is displayed.

If you press «ONLINE», the machine returns to the standby state "READY

TO PRINT".
