Installing the printer driver on a PC

This section explains how to install the printer driver by taking the example of installation from

the Software DVD-ROM for this machine.

Connect this machine to a PC with a network or USB cable.

Insert the "Software DVD-ROM" into the computer.

When [AutoPlay] is displayed, click [Run Setup.exe].

•

When the [User account control] screen is displayed, click [YES].

Select your desired language from the pull-down menu.

Read the software license agreement, and click [Accept].

Select either [Network (Wired/Wireless)] or [USB connection] depending

on the connection method between the PC and this machine, and then click

[Next].

•

If [Windows security alert] screen is displayed, click [Allow access].

Select the model name of this machine, and click [Next].

Click [Install Optional Software].

Click [Complete].

Click [Next].

Click [Exit].
