Replacing Consumables
This section describes the service life and replacement method of consumables.
About the Service Life of Consumables
Guidelines for replacement of consumables are as follows.
*Periodically replaced parts are parts that need a service representative.

Print Cartridge (CMYK)
When A6 size documents with print density
*1
of 20% are printed continuously, the printable pages
is about 9,000. Printing quality will decline after 1 year has passed from opening the package.
Therefore, prepare a new print cartridge.
Even if the cyan (blue), magenta (red), and yellow print cartridge life has been reached, monochrome
printing using only black can be done by specifying “Mono”. Refer to “Monochrome (Black and White)
Printing” and “Printing Using the Specified Print Cartridge Only (Lift Up)” in the “User’s Guide”
regarding printing with black only.

Belt Unit
About 150,000 printings
*: When printing three sheets of A6 size at the same time

2nd Transfer Roller
About 150,000 printings

The 2nd transfer roller is included in the belt unit, which is a consumable.

Fuser and Exit Unit

The following consumables are periodically replaced parts. You cannot replace them
by yourself. A service representative is needed to do the replacement work.

Paper guide/feed unit

It will reach its service life after printing about 1,000,000 pages (A6 size equivalent).

Cutter unit

It will reach its service life after cutting about 1,000,000 pages.

F0 roller unit

It will reach its service life after printing about 1,000,000 pages (A6 size equivalent).
*1: Print density is the proportion of area having toner on printable area of 1 page.
*2: Consumable parts of the printer.
*3: Consumable parts of the unwinder.

The printable pages/lifespan is for reference. The actual printable pages/lifespan might decrease depending on the print
environment such as the details of the document to be printed, usage status, powering ON/OFF, and adjustment operation at
the time of cover opening/closing. They may be less than half, depending on the printing conditions.
