Paper precautions by type
Plain

If the paper width is set to 230 mm or less, the print speed will be slowed down.
(e.g.) A4 . A5, A6, etc.
When printing on narrow paper, you can set the print speed. Please see "Narrow Paper Speed" of the menu item
for details.

For thick paper, the toner may stick thinly to the whole paper or the printing may be light.
Partially printed paper

When a printing frame is set, design it with careful considerations of the following variations in the printing
position.
Output position accuracy:
± 2 mm; paper slant: ± 1 mm/100 mm (except for duplex printing); image
expansion and contraction: ± 0.75 mm/100 mm (except for duplex printing, when the paper weight is 64
g/m 2 )

This machine cannot print over a printed area.
Postcard

The paper may curl after printing.

The toner may stick thinly to the whole paper or the printing may be light.

The toner may be easily removed.

Duplex printing is not available.

Always perform trial printing and check that there are no problems.
Envelope

The paper may warp or wrinkle after printing.

The toner may stick thinly to the whole paper or the printing may be light.

The toner may be easily removed.

The printing quality may decline in an area of about 5 mm around the sealing part (of different weights) of
the envelope.

The warps on an envelope may cause poor paper feeding. Use the envelope after correcting warps or
bulges.

If the glued part at the rear edge of the envelope is bent, it may cause poor paper feeding. Correct the
bending before use.

Duplex printing is not available.

Always perform trial printing and check that there are no problems.
Label

The toner may stick thinly to the whole paper or the printing may be light.

The toner may be easily removed.

The warps on the front edge of a label may cause poor paper feeding. Use labels after correcting warps or
bulges.

Duplex printing is not available.

Always perform trial printing and check that there are no problems.
