Setup Access 

The last icon displayed in the 

OPERATOR

 menu accesses the 

SETUP

 menu, from which all the indicator

’s  

programming parameters can be viewed and modified. The settings and options available in setup are described in 
detail in Chapter 3, Configuration: Indicator. 
 
It is not intended that operators enter the setup mode. After a weighing system is installed and is operational, it 
should not be necessary for an operator to access setup. 
 
Note that a security password can be enabled in setup. When a password is set, it must be entered in order to 
access setup. This protects the setup parameters from inadvertent changes. 

2.4  Basic Functionality 

This section provides information about T72XW basic functionality. Functions addressed in this section include:

2.4.1 

Zero 

The Zero function is used to set or reset the initial zero reference point of the indicator. There are three types of 
zero setting modes: 

 

Automatic Zero Maintenance 

 

Power Up Zero 

 

Pushbutton Zero 

When the scale platform or weighbridge is empty, the indicator should indicate zero. The gross zero reference is 
recorded during calibration. If pushbutton zero is enabled in configuration and the weight is within the zero range 
pressing ZERO will capture a new gross zero reference point.
