MAINTENANCE
8.1
Calibration
Periodically verify calibration by placing an accurate weight on the balance and viewing the result. If calibration is
required, refer to section 5.2 for instructions.
8.2
Cleaning
WARNING:
Disconnect the Adventurer Balance from the power supply before cleaning.
Make sure that no liquid enters the interior of the balance.
Clean the Balance at regular intervals.
Housing surfaces may be cleaned with a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild
cleaning agent.
Glass surfaces may be cleaned with a commercial glass cleaner. Please follow the steps below
on how to remove and install the sliding doors.
Attention:
Do not use solvents, harsh chemicals, ammonia or abrasive cleaning agents.
Removing and reinstalling the glass doors for cleaning:
Step 1.
On the back of the balance, press
the pin and slide out the door.
Step 2.
After cleaning, slide the doors into
the slot while pressing the pin
mentioned in step 1.
Step 3.
Slide the doors into the slot until the
back stopper aligns with the other
door.
