Software update
In rare cases a software update may be necessary.
A Windows PC (laptop) with a USB data interface and a USB data cable with A-A coding are
required for the software update.
The update is carried out as follows:
1.
Download the "DfuSe USB" update software from the Internet and install it on any
Windows PC

2.
Copy the new software version sent by the manufacturer into a directory on the Windows
PC
3.
Switch off Softcontrol Data/F or disconnect from the power supply
4.
Remove the jumper marked in the following illustration from the circuit board.
5.
Remove the USB stick from the USB socket
6.
Establish a data connection between the PC and the softcontrol device. To do this, plug a
USB A-A connection cable into the Windows PC and into the USB socket on the Softcon-
trol Data/F circuit board.
7.
Switch on Softcontrol Data/F again
