Armband: Size and connection
The cuff supplied is size L. It is suitable for an arm
circumference of 22 to 42cm.
Insert the cuff connector into the hole on the left side of the
device as shown in the picture.
Caution:
Use only the cuff provided. Do not use any other brand.
Battery installation
Remove the battery compartment cover, then insert the batteries.
a) Remove the cover as shown in the picture.
b) Insert 4 strong AAA batteries into the compartment and make
sure each battery is placed in the correct orientation.
Low battery and replacement
When powering on, the low battery symbol may be displayed
.
You will then need to replace with new batteries, otherwise the
blood pressure monitor will not work properly.
Battery type and replacement
Please use 4 identical AAA alkaline batteries of 1.5V each. Do not use batteries
beyond their expiration date. Please remove the batteries if you do not need to use the
monitor for more than 1 month.
Warning :
Dispose of batteries in accordance with applicable laws. To avoid the risk
of fire and explosion, do not burn or incinerate batteries.
Using an adapter (not supplied)
1. The AC adapter is not supplied. If you use one, it must comply with the
requirements of applicable law, in this case IEC 60601-1: 2005. In addition, all
configurations must comply with the requirements of medical electrical systems (see
IEC 60601-1-1 or clause 16 of the 3rd edition of IEC 60601-1 respectively). Anyone
connecting additional equipment to medical electrical equipment sets up a medical
system and is therefore responsible for ensuring that the system conforms to the
requirements of medical electrical systems. Local law takes precedence over the
requirements mentioned above. If in doubt, refer to the standards and laws in force.
2. When using AC power, to prevent damage to the monitor, please only use AC
adapter that meets the following specifications:
Output voltage: 6V ± 5% Max.
Output current: At least 600 mA
Polarity of the output jack: internal
External diameter: 5.5mm 0.1mm
Internal diameter: 2.1mm 0.1mm
3. Insert the adapter plug into the hole on the right side of
the monitor.
