Preparation for use

The preparation for use of these devices must be performed by qualified

personnel both to evaluate the suitability of the product and to provide the

correct instructions to the user.

3.1

Opening/folding the back-rest

The wheelchair is sent with the rear wheels aside and with the backrest completely

tilted down.

OPENING

Pull the string to unlock the back-rest and pull

the back-rest upwards until the rear locks snap

in their locking places.

FOLDING

Pull the string to unlock the back-rest and push

it down until the rear locks snap in their

locking places.

3.2

Removing/Putting in place the rear wheels

Usually IDRA 2.0 are sent with the back wheels aside.

It is possible to assemble or release the wheels as follows:

• ensure the brakes are in released position;

• insert the shaft into the wheel hub by holding down the button;

• keeping the shaft button pressed insert it into the bush on the frame of the wheelchair;

• release the button;

• check the efficiency of the engagement by trying to pull out the wheel without pressing the

button and making sure it does not come out.
