Measure the line voltage at the wall receptacle again (voltage loaded = Vl) while making a radiographic exposure
(300 mAs @ 100 kVp).

Calculate the percentage line voltage regulation using the following formula and record the results on the PM
Inspection Report form:

If the results above do not fall within the range of 0 - 15 %, inform the hospital administration that they will need to
correct this problem. (This problem results in a violation of a provision of the Federal Performance Standards 21
CFR 1020.30)
Isolation Transformer, Secondary Output
1.
Measure the AC voltage on the isolation transformer’s secondary output from AC1 to AC2 and record the
measured value on the PM Inspection Report form.
2.
Measure the AC voltage on the isolation transformer’s secondary output from AC to RTN and record the measured
value on the PM Inspection Report form.
