Safety Inspections
When performing a semi-annual PM perform the
Safety Inspections
section,
Power Supplies and Battery Inspections
section,
Functional Inspection
section, and
Completing the PM
section.
When performing an annual PM perform all sections.
Mechanical Inspections
Brakes
1.
Engage the Wig-Wag brake and verify that the brake prevents Wig-Wag movement.
2.
Tighten the Flip Flop brake and verify that the Flip Flop does not move.
3.
Engage the C-Arm Orbital brake and verify that the C-Arm does not move.
4.
Engage the Horizontal Cross-Arm brake and verify that the Cross-Arm does not move.
5.
Engage the L-Arm brake and verify that the L-Arm does not move.
6.
Engage the C-Arm wheel brake and then attempt to push the C-Arm. The wheels should not roll.
7.
Engage the Workstation's wheel brake and then push the Workstation and verify that the caster/wheel assemblies
are locked in position and do not move.
