7. After the setting is completed, connect the gateway to the Modbus TCP network through 

Ethernet, and connect to the Modbus RTU/ASCII network through the corresponding serial 

port (the routine is configured as COM2). The gateway acts as a Modbus TCP server in the 

Modbus TCP network. As a slave station in the network, the Modbus TCP client can read 

and write the gateway data storage area inside the gateway through the Modbus TCP 

protocol, and the Modbus RTU/ASCII master station can also read and write the gateway 

data storage area inside the gateway through the Modbus RTU/ASCII protocol. The 

gateway acts as The function of a data relay realizes the communication between Modbus 

TCP client and Modbus RTU/ASCII master station.
