Making Calls – Basic Functions

Adjusting the Display to a Comfortable Reading

Angle

You can swivel the display unit. Adjust the display unit so that you can

clearly read the screen.

Illuminated display

When operating the Octophon F640 TDM, e. g. when entering a

number, the display automatically lights up. The display lighting

switches off automatically a few seconds after finishing the last ac-

tion.

Adjusting the display contrast

The display has four contrast levels that you can set according to your

light conditions.

Press these keys while the phone is idle.
Select and confirm.

Change the display contrast. Press the key repeatedly until the de-

sired level is obtained.

Save.

Setting the contrast for key labels

You can adapt the contrast for a connected key module for

Octophon F640 to the lighting conditions in eight levels.

Pressing one of the key in idle mode

Page 19.

Select and confirm.

Keep pressing the key until the desired contrast is set.

Save.
