21.1.1 Charge aborted
The charging shutdown function is a safety function to en-
sure the heat pump‘s safe operation in DHW mode.
The charging shutdown function is used to check whether
the DHW tank reaches the target value within a certain
time. If this is not the case, there is a risk that the DHW
3-way switching module has not switched or has only
switched partially, and the heating circuits are being fed
with too high a temperature. In this case, the DHW charg-
ing is discontinued.
The charging shutdown function is always active as soon
as DHW charging is requested. The timer starts from this
point. If the time has elapsed, DHW charging is discontin-
ued, and an alarm is triggered. The DHW charging function
is blocked until midnight. The alarm cannot be acknowl-
edged manually.
The timer is set to 2 hours by default. The timer time dou-
bles when:
► The legionella program is started.
► The boost function is activated.
► Forced draw-off is started.
► The difference between the target value and the actu -
al value is more than 15°C.
21.2 Acknowledging faults
Faults which occur on the heat pump can be acknowledged
manually. If the same faults keep recurring, the system
locks automatically.
