When the proposed solution does not help, try other media from another supplier or stored under
other circumstances.
What to do when the sentry rejects sheets that already passed the print process?
Follow this procedure when the sentry tray collects sheets that are one-sided printed or blank, but
already passed the print module. The rear side of media is physically different from the front side,
which can result in small deformations which the sentry is able to detect.
1. Stop the job.
2. Empty the sentry tray.
3. Take the media stack from the paper tray the job uses.
NOTE
If your job uses media from more than one paper tray, repeat the procedure for the
media of each paper tray.
4. Following the load instructions, the media stack was loaded with the preferred site face-up in
the paper tray. Now, you turn the stack over and load the media face-down.
5. Restart the job.
When the proposed solution does not help, you can try other media options: use another feed
direction in the paper tray, another media size or type. Refer to your Service organisation when
you are not able to solve the problem.
