Media attributes

Media attributes describe the general properties of the media and
the media substrate. Some attributes can be changed, for example
the name and the size.

Media optimisation
parameters

Media optimisation parameters describe how the printer uses and
prints the media. Some parameters can be changed, for example if
media are suitable for quality control sheets.

Calibration media

Default media to print the media family calibration charts.

Output profile

The output profile is linked to the media print mode.

Media packs

When the Service organisation has prepared new

media definitions

, you receive a

media pack

. A

media pack is a zip file that contains one or more media definitions. You import a media pack
from the media catalogue. A media definition is a set of media elements and the corresponding
output profile.
