Function

Description of the function

'Layout'

The 'Normal' value is the default setting.
The 'Booklet' function allows you to create a finished booklet
(see ‘

Create a booklet

’ on page

55

).

The properties of the booklet are defined by the feed direc-
tion, the selected paper size and the orientation of the infor-
mation on the originals.
Four default images are printed on one sheet of paper.
Some settings are disabled by the 'Booklet' setting.
See the result of the settings in the feedback box next to the
'Copy type' function box.
The '2-images' function allows you to copy two original pag-
es on one side.

'Margin
shift'

The 'Margin shift' function allows you to change the default
margin settings for the front and the rear pages from + 1 inch
down to - 1 inch.
See the result of the settings in the feedback box next to the
'Margin shift' function box.
Check to insure the increased margins do not result in lost im-
age information.
