Scan-to-file
Introduction
In addition to making copies and prints, you can also copy with scan-to-file. This means
that you can scan an original and save it as a file. The file can be saved in predefined for-
mats and places.
Before you begin
Make sure the required settings have been made. Go to Océ Express WebTools and check
or edit your settings. For more information on how to do this, see
‘Define a scan-to-file
template’ on page 102

Scan-to-file
When you start without a template setting:
1.
Press the “File” section key and select “On”.
2.
Define the job settings, only if necessary. Open the “Optimization” or “Image” card in
the “File” sheet to change the predefined settings. Use the “Destination” card to select
the desired location to send the file.
3. Feed the original.
4.
Press the green Start key to start the scan job. Your original is fed into the scanner. The
file is sent to your preferred destination.
Scan-to-file with a template
When you start with a template setting:
1.
Press the “Scan-to-File Template” function key.
2.
Feed in the original.
