Removing and reinstalling neck hole cover
The Neck hole cover is a decorative part that covers the opening through which OCCO’s neck is exiting
the body. It is a thin plastic piece that should take no load under normal use, and as such has unlimited
service life. However, it may be necessary to remove or replace this piece if directed by tech support,
e.g. for maintenance.
The cover has a slit in the back, and if properly twisted can be easily taken out and put back in:
1.
Ensure that the robot’s head is looking straight forward,
2.
Slightly lift and twist the cover such that it can clear the mesh wire cord. There should be no
need to apply force, this will break the cover. Remember you are only twisting the paper-thin
front side along its naturally bendable geometry.
3.
Keeping the cover at an angle – move it towards the front until it clears the neck.
Reinstalling steps are done in the opposite order.
