2.1 Function description
2.1.1 Pump fed system
The pump-fed ProfiClear Premium XL drain module is the final module in the filter system. It is con-
nected to the previous module by two DN 180 inlets.
Five integrated ClearWave filter elements ensure optimum water clarity. The aerator stones enrich wa-
ter with air, thereby optimising the water movement in the container and the bacterial colonisation of
the filter elements.
The water is returned to the pond through the DN 110 outlets.
2.1.2 Gravity fed system
The gravity-fed ProfiClear Premium XL drain module is the final module in the filter system. It is con-
nected to the previous module by two DN 180 inlets.
The module contains UVC clarifiers Bitron Premium 60 W / 120 W / 180 W for decontaminating the
water and filter pumps to return the water to the pond through the DN 110 outlets.
Additional filter pumps can be connected to the 50 mm Tradux lead-throughs.
2.2 Intended use
Only use the product described in this manual as follows:

For cleaning garden ponds.
•
Operate in accordance with instructions. (

Use for private purposes only.
The following restrictions apply to the unit:
•
Only operate with water at a water temperature of +4 °C to +35 °C.
•
Never use the unit with fluids other than water.
•
Do not use in conjunction with chemicals, foodstuff, easily flammable or explosive substances.
3 Transport
W A R N I N G
Due to the high weight of the unit, spinal injuries or crushing of limbs is possible when carrying
the unit. The unit weighs more than 25 kg.
•
Have a minimum of 4 persons carry the container on the handles to avoid spinal injuries.
•
Protect limbs from crushing.
•
Do not transport the unit when it is filled.


The filter module is equipped with four handles for carrying. Do not use any other carrying or transport
aids (e.g. transport by crane).
4 Installation and connection
4.1 Installing the filter module and connecting it with the upstream filter module
How to proceed:


1. Push the transition sleeve onto the inlet and fasten it with the hose clip.
– For later assembly work, turn the hose clip so that the hose clip screw is accessible from the
side.
2. Push the filter module up to the previous filter module so that its outlet is positioned in the transition
sleeve of the filter module up to the stop.
– Ensure that the soiled water outlets are all on the same side.
3. Secure the connection with a hose clip.
