1.4 Smart Home Demonstration
Certain components of the kit are pre-loaded with the software for the JenNet-IP
Smart Home Demonstration. Running this demonstration will allow you to test most
components of the kit (even if you do not intend to use the JenNet-IP protocol to
develop your own applications).
The demonstration is a lighting system which allows LEDs on the nodes/boards of the
wireless network (WPAN) to be controlled in either of two ways:

From outside the WPAN, via an IP connection from a PC

From within the WPAN, from a wireless Remote Control Unit
The demonstration system is depicted below. More detailed information and
instructions on how to run the demonstration are provided in
Chapter 3 .

networks, you may wish to now run the demonstration
