Using the NVIDIA MediaShield RAID Management Utility

Creating a Mirrored Array

The MediaShield application can be used to create a Mirrored Array. By definition, a
mirrored array consists of two drives. Data is written to both drives, and if one drive fails
then data can be recovered from the other drive.

To create a Mirrored Array, do the following:

Make sure the drives that you want to use are RAID-enabled in the system BIOS.

Select the Custom option in the MediaShield Create Wizard.
