Chapter 4: Additional Local Configuration
Display, Audio
You can customize each TouchPoint Console to better suit the environment in which it will operate. For example, if
ambient noise is higher than normal in the space where TPC is located, you may want to increase the speaker volume.
Or, if TPC will be placed in a dark environment, you can increase the Display brightness to better see the screen at a
distance.

On the Administrative Options screen, press Display, Audio.

In the Display and Audio Settings screen, adjust the following options if required:
Option
Description
Backlight Timeout (mins)
After this set period of time, dim the screen to preserve screen life and save power. The
default value is 30 minutes.
The user can press anywhere on the screen to renew the backlight.
Display Brightness
Press the + or - button to increase or decrease the overall brightness of the screen.
Speaker Volume
Press the + or - button to control the volume of the external speaker. if you enable the Beep
on keypress or Beep on timeout feature, you can adjust the volume that will be heard when
these features are used.
By default, the volume is set to level 7 out of a possible ten, where 1 is quietest and 10 is
loudest.
