Using Bixby Vision
Bixby Vision can use the below functions on recognized images.

From the Home screen, "Camera"

• Tutorial of Bixby Vision displays. Confirm the contents and follow the
onscreen instructions.
• You need to sign in to your Galaxy account to use the Bixby Vision
functions.

Tap the icon under the picture

Turn the camera to the target
• Related information is displayed.
Item Description
Text Detect and translate text.
Image Search for images similar to the one you're looking at.
Place You can check the details of landmarks and places nearby
place by looking at them.
Wine Discover more about a wine's vintage, preferred food
pairings, and ranking by looking at its label.
QR code Read QR codes.
Translate the text of shooting target

From the Bixby Vision screen, "Text"

Point the camera at the text you want to translate so that it
is in the field of recognition

Select the source and target languages on the screen
• The text is translated and appears on the screen.
Information
• You can use Bixby Vision from "Gallery" (P.102).
• On the Bixby Vision screen, tap → "Settings" to configure Bixby
Vision settings. To recognize images with Bixby Vision, you need to
turn ON what you want to recognize in "Settings".
• Tap on the Bixby Vision to use light.
• If wine labels are not recognized correctly, change the angle and try
shooting the label several times.
Shooting with Selfie Focus
With the Selfie Focus function, the camera recognize your face when you
take yourself and you can take a photo blur the background.

Information
• If you turn your palm toward the front camera instead of tapping
on the shooting screen, countdown timer will start and you can
shoot. This feature is also available "SELFIE", "AR EMOJI" and "WIDE
SELFIE".
Shooting with Live Focus
With the Live Focus function, you can use the dual lens to separate a
picture into the object and the background. You can take a photo using
telephotography to focus on the object or blur the background.
