5 Hardware

PCS-9785 Satellite-Synchronized Clock

5.1 Overview

This device consists several different modules. The application and terminal description of each
module will be introduced in this chapter.



MON module

provides management functions like communication with SAS, event record,

setting management etc.



CLK module

provides satellite signal receiver (BDS or GPS) and IRIG-B signal input

channel.



COM module

provides different output interfaces with other IEDs.



PWR module

converts the power supply into various voltage levels for different modules and

components in this device.



HMI module

is comprised of LCD, keypad, LED indicators and a multiplex RJ45 debugging

port.

5.2 Module Configuration (for EXAMPLE only)

This section shows several examples of device terminal view and module arrangement.
