4-4-20. P00 to 07, P10 to 17, P20 to 27, P30 to 37

Input/output port terminals.
When used in output mode, these terminal outputs are open drains or ordinary output. You can select either by
setting of OPDLS terminal. If you select open drains output, they should be pulled up externally (a few k-ohm is all
that is needed). The voltage can be pulled up to 5V with resistor
If you select ordinary output, pull-up is not needed. Do not pull up with more than 3.3V voltage. If it is pulled up to 5V,
the voltage of the terminal cannot be 5V and sink current will occur.
When use in input mode, connect a 5V signal.
Be careful not to provide too much voltage by reflection or linking.
We recommend the use of diodes at each terminal to prevent the possibility of too much voltage.

Note: These terminals of G9002 (not G9002A) are fixed to open drain output.

4-4-21. OPDSL

This terminal can be used to select outputs as open drain output or ordinary high/low output.
This setting specifies all output ports. Input/output ports that are used as input ports are not specified by this
setting.

Note: A HIGH output H means that the terminal is externally pulled up to the voltage provided by the power

supply.
Output circuits for the I/O port terminals are open drains, in order to handle a 5 V output. Therefore, an
external pull up resistor is essential for correct operation. A resister with a few K-ohms is all that is
needed to pull up the terminal.
