8. ALARM INPUTS AND OUTPUTS CONNECTION
Digital Multiplexers NV-DVR04 and NV-DVR04NET are equipped with 4 alarm inputs which allow
to connect external devices. Output relay allows to control external devices e.g. sirens.
Do not exceed maximum current of 200mA.
When external alarm event occurs (any alarm input shorted with ground) Multiplexer will switch
display to the quad mode,
ALM
sign will appear on the screen, alarm output relay will be closed and
alarm event will be added to the Event list.
To automatically switch the device to alarm recording mode manual or schedule recording must be
initiated. Junction for cable connection is equipped with handy, removable clamp junctions terminal.
On this terminal also alarm output is placed. For detailed terminal description please view the image
below.
