All products from NOSRAM are manufactured according to the highest quality standards. NOSRAM
guarantees this product to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for 90 days (non-euro-
pean countris only) from the original date of purchase verified by sales receipt. This limited warranty
doesn’t cover defects, which are a result of misuse, improper maintenance, outside interference or
mechanical damage. This especially applies on already used batteries or batteries, which show signs
of heavy usage. Damages or output losses due to improper handling and/or overload are not a product
fault. Signs of wear (loss of capacity) after intensive usage are also no product fault.
To eliminate all other possibilities or improper handling, first check all other components in your model
and the trouble shooting guide, if available, before you send in this product for repair. If products
are sent in for repair, which do operate perfectly, we have to charge a service fee according to our
pricelist. The following points do also result in a service fee:
• Original power plugs replaced with a NON reverse polarity protected power plug system
• Send in the battery without power plugs
• Removed or damaged original heatshrink
With sending in this product, the customer has to advise NOSRAM if the product should be repaired
in either case. If there is neither a warranty nor guarantee claim, the inspection of the product and
the repairs, if necessary, in either case will be charged with a fee at the customers expense accor-
ding to our price list. A proof of purchase including date of purchase needs to be included. Otherwise,
no warranty can be granted. For quick repair- and return service, add your address and detailed
description of the malfunction.
If NOSRAM no longer manufactures a returned defective product and we are unable to service it, we
shall provide you with a product that has at least the same value from one of the successor series.
The specifications like weight, size and others should be seen as guide values. Due to ongoing tech-
nical improvements, which are done in the interest of the product, NOSRAM does not take any
responsibility for the accuracy of these specs.
NOSRAM-Distributor-Service:
• Package your product carefully and include sales receipt and detailed description of malfunction.
• Send parcel to your national NOSRAM distributor.
• Distributor repairs or exchanges the product.
• Shipment back to you usually by COD (cash on delivery), but this is subject to your national
NOSRAM distributor‘s general policy.
If you are not using your NiMH battery pack for some weeks, it shall not be stored fully discharged.
Longer storing of fully discharged NiMH batteries damages the cells.
Only store your NiMH battery packs with some capacity left in them. We recommend to partially
charge the battery with 1.6A for 15 minutes. You can then store the pack for several weeks without
any problems.
• Mount your receiver battery pack on a foam or something similar, so it is protected against heavy
vibrations.
• Be sure, that the receiver battery pack never gets in contact with fuel or similar stuff, especially
during refueling of your car. Best would be a sealed receiver box or a piece of Lexan to protect
the battery pack.
• Always charge you battery on the same day you are going to use it. If the battery is fully charged
and rests for several days, be sure to recharge it right before usage. NiMH batteries have a high
self-discharge rate, which leads to less capacity after a long storage period.

We generally recommend a charge current of 1.6A and chargers, which are suited for NiMH batte-
ries. Our NOSRAM STEALTH Evolution charger (#91552) is perfect for this application. Make sure
not to overcharge your battery pack.
Charge up to a maximum cell temperature of 42ºC, when you are using a temperature cut-off char-
ger. Nevertheless you should use a charger with Delta-Peak detection, if possible.

Please note:
You can charge or recharge this battery pack several times a day without problems.
You will not hurt the pack. Nevertheless we recommend to completely discharge the battery pack
and then fully charge it again once in a while (e.g. between race weekends).
Please note:
This receiver battery pack is very robust and easy to use. Therefore the following
information is not something you necessarily have to do, but your battery pack will have a longer
lifetime and optimized performance, if you do so.
If you intend to use your battery pack again within one week, you can leave the battery pack like it is
or discharge the pack with max. 2A to a cut-off voltage of 4.5V.
If you intend not to use your battery for several weeks, you should not discharge the pack. Please
refer to the „Storage“ section for further information.
It is not recommended to discharge your NiMH battery pack completely if you intend to store
your battery for a longer time! Only fully discharge the battery pack, if you intend to use it
within one week.
IMPORTANT:
Do not dead-short or deep-discharge the cells to 0V. Also do not use the common light-
bulbs without a cut-off or a monitoring device as this will damage the cells immediately.
