Safety
• Never expose the lightbox to impacts, shocks,
or water.
• Do not place the lightbox where it could fall into
water or any other type of liquid.
Power supply
Information
Using the included mains adapter you can connect
the lightbox to a 230 V wall socket. It can also be
battery operated, runs on: 4 × C/LR14 batteries
(sold separately).
Mains operation
1. Open the small compartment on the back of
the lightbox and pull out the connection cable.
2. Feed the connection cable through the notch and
refit the compartment lid.
3. Connect the connection cable to the mains lead
and plug the mains adapter into a wall socket.
Battery operation
1. Open the battery compartment on the back of
the lightbox.
2. Insert 4 × C/LR14 batteries (sold separately).
3. Close the battery compartment.
Note:
• Refer to the markings in the battery compartment
to ensure correct polarity. Never mix old and
new batteries. Never mix rechargeable and non-
rechargeable batteries.
• The mains adapter must be disconnected from
the lightbox in order for battery operation to work.
Operating instructions
1. Press the power switch to select the timer
function which means that:
a. The lightbox shines for 8 hours.
b. The lightbox switches off for 16 hours.
c. The lightbox shines for 8 hours and so on.
2. Press the power switch so that the light shines
the whole time.
3. Press the power switch to turn the lightbox off.
Placement
The lightbox can be used either free-standing or
wall-mounted. The fastening eyelet for wall-mounting
is found at the back of the lightbox.
Note:
If wall-mounting: use fasteners suitable for the
wall material and ensure that there are no electrical
wires or water pipes in the wall where you intend to
screw/drill.
Care and maintenance
Remove the batteries from the battery compartment,
unplug the mains adapter from the wall socket and
store the lightbox in a dry place out of children’s reach.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this
product should not be disposed
of with general household waste.
This applies throughout the entire
EU. In order to prevent any harm to
the environment or health hazards
caused by incorrect waste disposal,
the product must be handed in for
recycling so that the material can be
disposed of in a responsible manner.
When recycling your product, take it to
your local collection facility or contact
the place of purchase. They will ensure
that the product is disposed of in
an environmentally sound manner.
