Installing/Removing a PCMCIA Expansion Module
To install a PCMCIA expansion module:

Make sure the module is label side up with the pin connector side facing in.

Gently slide the module into the slot, as shown in the illustration above. Push
the module all the way in so that it firmly mates with the connector at the rear
of the slot. The PCMCIA eject button, located to the right of the slot should
pop out, indicating that the module was properly inserted.
Caution:
Do not remove or insert a PCMCIA expansion module when
the LED indicator is lit as this could cause damage to the equipment. Any
PCMCIA module used in the Passport 4460 should comply with relevant
regulatory compliances (EMC and, where required, with Safety LVD and/
or telephone company connect requirements).
