Chapter 4
16 MB Flash Module
The 16 MB Flash Module contains the latest software configuration for the
Passport 4460 unit.
The Flash slot, as shown below, is reserved for the 16 MB Flash Module.
Note:
To make the Passport 4460 unit operational, the 16 MB Flash
Module must have the write protect switch OFF and installed in the unit
to provide a download of the system configuration software. Refer to
“Installing/Removing a Flash Module” on page 82
for more information.
Note:
Once the unit is operating, should there be a hardware failure on
the module, simply eject the module and replace it with a new module.
