ISDN BRI (U Interface) Adapter Module

ISDN BRI (U Interface) is a 2-wire BRI interface obtained from an ISDN 
provider or local exchange. It cannot be directly connected to the network and 
requires connection to an NT1 (Network Terminating unit, type 1), an external 
device provided by the phone company. The NT1 accepts a 2-wire signal and 
converts it to a 4-wire signal that sends and receives to and from devices within 
the home or a business

Note: 

This module is designed to accept an RJ-48 connector; however, it 

is compatible with an RJ-45 cable connector.
