Meridian Mail Compact Option card and hard drive replacement

The following procedures describe mail card and hard drive replacement.

Procedure 56
Replacing the CPU card assembly

Note: Before proceeding, follow

Procedure 39 on page 209

.

1

If necessary, remove any cables attached to the front of the voice mail
card.

2

Push down on the card latches to disconnect the card from the
connector at the back of the cardcage.

3

Pull the card out of its slot in the switch cardcage and lay the card on
a flat surface.

CAUTION

Risk of equipment damage

Wear an ESD wristband connected to an appropriate ground. The
voicemail card assembly contains components that can be damaged by
electro-static discharge.
