Option 11C Compact

Planning, Installation, Fault Clearing and CCBR Guide

The RSM provides three RS232 ports, two of which connect to personal
computers used for Property Management System services and Guest
Administration services. The third port connects to the small system
controller carde in the main cabinet by way of an SDI cable.

An LED on the RSM module shows its status. When the LED is lit, the system
is operating in Normal Mode. When the LED is off, the system is in Bypass
Mode.

Procedure 11
RSM installation

1

Install the RSM assembly module NTMW50 close to the main
cabinet.

2

Connect the RSM to the main cabinet backplane using an RSM
Module cable assembly (NTMW51AA).

3

Connect the RSM to the personal computers used to provide
Hospitality services. Use GAC cables (NTMW55AA).
