Removing a rack-mounted BSG8ew/12ew/aw/tw
Use this procedure to remove a rack-mounted BSG8ew/12ew/aw/tw.
Procedure steps
Step Action
1 Remove all of the cables from the unit.
To disconnect cables, see “Disconnecting the cables” on page 65 .
2 If the unit is mounted on top of another unit, slide that unit forward until it
disengages from the clips on the lower unit. Lift the unit off of the top of the other
unit
.
3 If the unit is secured to the rack-mount shelf with screws, remove these screws
from the bottom of the rack-mount shelf.
4 Slide the unit forward until it disengages from the clips on the rack-mount shelf.
5 Lift the unit off of the rack-mount shelf and set it on a flat, clean, static-free
surface.

Removing a wall-mounted BSG8ew
Use this procedure to remove a wall-mounted BSG8ew.
Procedure steps
Step Action
1 Remove all of the cables from the unit.
To disconnect cables, see “Disconnecting the cables” on page 65 .
2 Lift the unit until it disengages from the clips on the wall-mount bracket.
3 Pull the unit out and away from the wall-mount bracket.
4 Set the unit on a flat, clean, static-free surface.
