Power supply replacement

Procedure steps

Step

Action

Remove the telephony and data networking lines from the

BSG8ew/12ew/aw/

While removing a BSG8ew, rotate the power supply retention clip to free the
power supply cord.

Remove the power supply cord from the

BSG8ew/12ew/aw/tw

Remove the power supply cord from the AC wall outlet.

Remove the power supply from the table, rack-mount shelf, or wall-mount
bracket.

End

Connecting the new power supply

Use this procedure to connect the new power supply for the BSG8ew/12ew/aw/tw.

Prerequisites

•

Do not operate the BSG8ew/12ew/aw/tw with the cover removed.
