Note that a Ku-band configuration is shown in the following photographs. Antenna assembly steps are the 
same for both X-Band and Ku-Band systems.  

 

1. 

Remove Segment 1 from the reflector petal bag and rest it on the RF backplate.

Attach the Petal to the RF backplate using the thumbscrews. 
Loosely attach all four screws before tightening.
