Exporting the Event Log
Since you can only view 50 of the most recent events on the OLED display,
you may need to export of the event log to view more history to troubleshoot
an issue you may be having with the melter.
NOTES:
S
When transferring files between the melter and BBconn Cloud, the USB
drive must be formatted using FAT or FAT32. No other format, such as
NTFS and exFAT are supported.
S
Two files are always exported to the
/Logs
folder on the USB drive. If the
folder does not exist, the melter software will create it for you.
S
The file name is
EventLog
_[event log file number]_[
date
]_[
time
].
csv
For example
EventLog_02_1910810_1002.csv
S
EventLog_##:
can either 01 or 02. The smaller size file typically
contains the 50 of the most recent events. Older events will be in the
other file.

1910810:
The date format is
yy/mm/dd_hh/mm
which cannot be
changed.

1002:
Current system time when the event log was created. The time
format is based on what you have selected in the
System Settings |
Preferences / Time Format.

in most any spreadsheet application.
1. Make sure you have a USB drive inserted in the USB port.
2. The USB option is already selected. Press
on the Navigation pad.
Within a few seconds, a confirmation message quickly appears indicating
that the logs have been placed in the
/Logs
folder on the USB drive.
3. Remove the USB drive from the melter and use a computer or most any
device that can import and read a .csv file to troubleshoot issues or
include the files into an email and send to Nordson Technical Support.
4. Press
to return to the
Home
screen, or press
<
to return to the
Tools
menu.
