Upper Housing, Plunger, and Pressure Housing
Assembly
1. See Figure C 2-8. Install the upper housing (7) on the air motor
studs (A). Tighten the hex nuts (B) to 136

2. Secure the upper housing to the pump mounting surface.

7. Upper housing

3. See Figure C 2-9. Lubricate new white PTFE O-rings (11) and a new
black Buna-N O-ring (13) with O-ring lubricant and install them onto the
pressure housing (12). The white PTFE O-rings (11) go into the end
grooves, while the black Buna-N O-ring (13) goes into the groove
between the flats and the threads.
4. Apply a thin film of O-ring lubricant to the ID of the pressure housing and
the OD of the plunger.
5. Place the pressure housing in a vice, with the end that has the black
Buna-N O-ring pointing down.
