Siphon Housing Assembly

1. See Figure C 2-12. Loosen the pressure housing (8) from the

soft-jawed vise and position horizontally in the soft-jawed vise.

2. Lubricate the new PTFE O

−

ring (13), located below the ball seat, with

O-ring lubricant. Install the PTFE O-ring (13), siphon ball seat (12),

large ball (11), and cage (10) into the siphon housing.

3. Lubricate the threads of the pressure housing and the siphon housing

with O-ring lubricant. Thread the siphon housing (14) onto the pressure

housing (8) and tighten hand tight. Remove the pressure housing from

the soft-jawed vise.
