6. Place the assembly on the work bench with the machined faces of the

cylinder heads flat against the work surface and parallel with each other.

7. Tighten the hex nuts in a criss-cross pattern to 40

4 ft-lb).

Apply MagnaLube-G or

equivalent PTFE grease to

connecting rod, rubber part of

piston, and ID of cylinder before

installing.

Tighten to 40

5.4 N

(30

4 ft-lb). Do not over-

tighten or you will damage

cylinder.
Machined faces must be

parallel to each other.
