Corrective Action

Possible Cause

14. Machine cover

does not raise

Compressed air not connected to the
oven

Connect the compressed air to the oven.

Air valve not energizing

Access the RAISE MACHINE COVER
screen. Check on the I/O board to see if
LED 02 is ON.

If LED 02 is not on:

The I/O board may be defective.
Replace the I/O board.

S

If LED 02 is on:

Measure for +12 Vdc across the (+)
and (-) pins on the air solenoid.

-

If 12 Vdc is measured, the solenoid
may be defective. Check for air
leaks.

-

If 12 Vdc is not measured, turn the
power off. Remove the black dust
cover from J8 on the SSR
connector board and turn the power
back on. Replace the black dust
cover.

Measure for 12 Vdc between pins
17 (ground) and 16 on J8. If this is
not measured, the SSR connector
board is at fault. Replace the SSR
connector board.
