Edge Heat Lamps
To replace an edge heat lamp, perform the following steps:
NOTE: Parts on the moveable conveyor rail are arranged as a mirror
image of those on the fixed conveyor rail.
1. Turn on the oven.
2. Enter the
CONFORMAL COATING CURING menu.
3. Touch the SET-UP SCRN pad. Touch ENTER.
4. Enter code 5220 to gain access to the SET-UP SCREEN menu.
CAUTION: Before selecting product width, remove all boards
curing in the oven. Failure to observe this caution will result in
damage to equipment.
5. Touch the PRD WIDTH pad. Touch ENTER to calibrate the conveyor.
Follow the message prompts on the SET-UP SCREEN menu.
Remove all boards from within the process cavity.
6. Touch the digit pads to enter a conveyor width of 50.8 mm (2 in.).
Press ENTER.
7. Touch the CONVEYOR pad. Touch ENTER. Follow the message
prompts on the
SET-UP SCREEN menu.
8. Disconnect system power to the oven.
9. Using a flat blade screwdriver, turn the manual override clockwise to
raise the oven cover.
10. See Figure 5-1. Remove the screws (6) securing the junction
reflectors (5) to the lamp (3). Remove the top of the ceramic
protector (1).
11. Note how the lamp (3) attaches to bus bar (4). Remove the
screws(7) securing the cover plates (8) to the bars on each end of the
lamp. Remove and discard lamp.
12. Cut the lamp leads (2) on the new lamp to a length of 22 mm
(0.875 in.).
13. Install the new lamp (3) on the buss bar (4). Attach the cover
plates (8) with the screws (7).
