4. To choose a board part number from the Profile Library, perform the
following steps:
a. Touch the LIBRARY pad. Touch the ENTER pad to access the
LIBRARY SCREEN menu.
b. Use the NEXT PAGE pad or PREVIOUS PAGE pad to view
existing board profiles contained in the library, if necessary.
c. Select a part number from the library. Touch the EXIT pad to
access the
OPERATOR SCREEN menu.
d. Touch the ENTER pad and follow the messages displayed on the
screen.
CAUTION: Do not place PCB’s on top of the conveyor chains.
Spacing between boards must be at least one-half board
length. Failure to observe this caution may result in equipment
damage.
5. For standalone ovens, place a PCB on the conveyor. The conveyor
grips the edges of the PCB.
6. For in-line ovens, adjust the oven conveyor speed to the system’s
conveyor speed.
A profile is a trial and error process between oven through-put, desired
curing and maximum allowable temperature.
NOTE: Call your Nordson distributor or representative for assistance in
developing a curing profile.
To program the conveyor, perform the following steps:
NOTE: Calibrate the conveyor rails with each oven start-up.
1. Enter the CONFORMAL COATING CURING menu.
2. Touch the SET-UP SCRN pad. Touch ENTER.
3. Enter code 5220 to gain access to the
SET-UP SCREEN menu.
CAUTION: Before selecting product width, remove all boards
curing in the oven. Failure to observe this caution will result in
damage to equipment.
