Thermocouple Card (15)

Thermocouples located in the process cavity connect directly to this card.
The card monitors the temperature of each IR zone and sends signals to
the CPU Card for temperature stabilization.  It also monitors
thermocouple performance.

This card is an extension of and controlled by the I/O Card.  The card
contains relays for the main contactor, blower contactor, and Monitor
assembly.  A 60-conductor ribbon cable connects the SSR Card to the
I/O Card for control and data transmission.  The card is mounted on top
of the 3-phase transformer located on electrical panel in the oven base.

SCR feedback boards are mounted on top of the SCR’s located on
electrical panel in the oven base.  The boards are used to gate the SCR
and provide feedback for the SCR cards.

All system cooling and ventilation takes place within the oven.  The
blower brings filtered air into the process cavity and circulates it
throughout the oven.  This airflow pattern cools the PCB, IR lamps, and
reflectors.  It also insulates the ovens internal temperature environment
from the surrounding external ambient temperature.

Continuous exhausting of the oven is necessary for safe and effective
operation.  Exhaust air exits the oven at a low volume to conserve air
usage and help control curing temperatures.

WARNING:  Do not store flammable liquids in this area.
Failure to observe this warning may result in personal injury,
death, or equipment damage.

The storage area is located in the base of the oven.  Access to this area
is controlled by a pneumatic door latch operated by the monitor
assembly.  Use this area to store air filters, profile print outs, or a printer.
Never store coating material in this storage area.

The oven contains two alarm light stacks.  The red, orange, and green
alarm light stack identifies the various operational states of the oven.
The blue alarm light stack indicates when a PCB exits the oven and a
PCB stackup condition exists.
