safety goggles with side shields and/or heat-protective gloves.
The following table contains troubleshooting procedure for the conveyor
width control.
Problem Possible Cause Corrective Action
1. Conveyor rail does not
change position
Conveyor jammed Check full length of conveyor for PCB’s
or foreign objects jammed in drive
chains and gears. Remove PCB’s and
objects as necessary.
Dual-motor controller card circuit
breaker CB1 or CB2 tripped Turn oven off and check for tripped
circuit breaker(s). Manually open oven
cover and check entire length of
conveyor for obstructions.
If circuit breaker CB2 tripped, check for
a short on 18-VDC line.
Short occurred on the 18-VDC line Check for a short on the 18-VDC line of
limit switch board, encoder board,
conveyor speed motor assembly or,
conveyor width motor assembly. Reset
breaker(s).
Movable rail stopped between its
upper and lower limit or bad
limit-switch board Verify that both limit-switch board LED’s
are on and dual-motor controller board
LED’s L3 and L4 are off. Slide a piece
of paper through minimum and
maximum limit optical switch slot. If
LED’s on limit-switch board do not turn
off, replace limit-switch board.
