Slide the media cassette
out.

board spacer from the right
side of the cassette.

(labeled “C”) from the
media cassette.

Take a stack of about 250 sheets (½ ream).

Note:
Don’t unpack paper above the printer as this might cause
paper particles to fall into the printer.

Holding the stack with one hand, fan the sheets with the
other hand.
This gets air through the sheets and prevents static buildup.

Note:
Do not fan transparencies.

Take off the top and bottom sheets.
These sheets sometimes have residual glue buildup that could
cause a media jam.
