Check Point Management Server
The IP71 is accessed by the Check Point management server to push a
security policy. All Check Point NG FireWall-1/VPN-1 policies on the IP71
are configured through the management server.
The Check Point management server is on the WAN side (to manage a single
IP71 or multiple IP71 devices from a central location) or on the LAN side (to
locally manage an IP71).
Using a Check Point management server, you can manage multiple IP71
devices in remote offices and push a single security policy to all devices or
multiple security policies to multiple devices.
